Advanced Timber Finishing specialise in polyurethane spray painting. With more than 30 years’ industry experience, skilled staff and the best equipment, we offer high quality polyurethane spray painting and polishing.
With two workshops and plenty of spray painting booth capacity in Botany NSW 2019, we are one of the closest quality spray painters to the Sydney CBD. If you have tight deadlines, proximity to the installation site is an advantage.
Heavy-duty 2-pac polyurethane
We recommended heavy-duty 2-pac (two-pack poly) finishes for water-resistance, moderate heat resistance, and a greater ability to withstand solvents and abrasion.
Two-pack polyurethane is available in satin, semi-gloss and high-gloss finishes. The high-gloss finish is hard like an automotive finish.
Polyurethane is available in many colours or as a clear topcoat. Applying a clear gloss over timber gives the appearance of a smooth plastic shell.
As with most finishes, applying several thin coats is preferable to one or two heavy coats.
Requiring expert surface preparation and application
Polyurethanes, being hard and glossy, show up surface imperfections, so it is important that you have expert surface preparation and application. Advanced Timber Finishing has a team of qualified spray painters who are highly experienced in working with two-pack polyurethane.
Plus, we can advise you on the most suitable polyurethane finish for your project.
Kitchen doors, MDF flat-pack panelling, cabinets, joinery, doors, wall panels, office furniture, office fittings, shop fittings … whatever your project, we can handle it.
